Airline availability depends on the travel date and itinerary. Search current flights to confirm operating carriers, schedules and prices.

DEPARTING DHAKA

Build the flight choice around the trip into Kurmitola before check-in.

A traveller leaving from Gulshan does not need the same road buffer as one starting in Old Dhaka or arriving on an intercity service. Work backward from the international bag-drop deadline at HSIA, then compare the DXB terminal and final UAE transfer after landing.

Does a train or bus reach Dhaka on departure day?

Identify its actual stop and leave enough time to transfer to Kurmitola. A delayed separate ticket will not normally protect the Dubai flight.

Is the UAE destination outside Dubai?

Add the cross-emirate road journey after DXB. A Sharjah or Abu Dhabi address changes the total itinerary even though the flight ends in Dubai.

HSIA CHECK-IN

Use DAC, the current terminal and the operating airline in the departure plan.

Confirm the terminal and airline deadline on the issued booking rather than reusing details from an earlier trip. Traffic into Kurmitola and airport security can affect the practical buffer, so avoid scheduling the last possible road connection.

Starting in Gulshan does not justify copying a road estimate from Old Dhaka, Uttara or an intercity terminal. Check conditions for the actual departure hour and keep an alternative pickup contact. If a bus or train brings you into Dhaka first, protect the separate transfer to HSIA instead of treating the city arrival as airport arrival.

  • Keep UAE documents and accommodation details in cabin baggage.
  • Confirm whether checked bags are tagged only to DXB or beyond.
  • Share Bangladesh local departure time with the driver.

ARRIVING IN DUBAI

Check the DXB terminal before promising a Metro or pickup plan.

Terminals 1 and 3 have Metro stations; Terminal 2 does not. Use the operating flight’s terminal and the expected time out of arrivals to choose transport. Anyone collecting you needs the flight number and terminal, not only “Dubai airport”.

Will the Metro still be operating?

Check the current RTA timetable for the day and allow for immigration and baggage. Scheduled landing is not the time you reach the station.

Do you need a room immediately after an early arrival?

Confirm which hotel night covers the hours after landing. A standard afternoon check-in may not suit a morning arrival from Dhaka.

COMPARE IN BDT

Keep the Dhaka airport journey and Dubai terminal fixed while comparing.

Use the same travellers, bags and cabin. Add transport from the actual Dhaka starting point to DAC and from the correct DXB terminal to the UAE address. This is more useful than comparing base fares that exclude different essentials.

BAGGAGE

Do not let the international allowance hide a smaller feeder limit.

Check every operating carrier

The DAC–DXB fare family controls the international allowance. A domestic flight, bus or other feeder may use a different limit and should be checked independently.

Keep travel documents, medication and valuables in compliant cabin baggage.

TRANSIT

Confirm through-baggage and entry rules at every stop.

A connection on one ticket may protect the onward flight, but it can still require terminal movement. Separate tickets can add baggage collection, immigration and another check-in.

Continuing beyond DXB?

Read the entire itinerary for the final terminal and baggage destination. UAE entry and transit requirements depend on the traveller and the complete journey.

DHAKA–DUBAI SCHEDULE PLANNING

Dubai is two hours behind Dhaka; the ticket displays each airport’s time locally.

A departure shown late at night in Bangladesh may reach Dubai at a clock time that looks unexpectedly close. Do not interpret that as the airborne duration. Compare the total elapsed journey in the search result, then use Bangladesh time for the Kurmitola check-in plan and UAE time for the DXB arrival.

For an overnight flight, confirm whether the Dubai landing falls on the same or following local date and tell the hotel or pickup contact explicitly. Add immigration, baggage and terminal transport before committing to work, a coach to another emirate or a separate onward flight.

Schedules can move between travel dates. Recheck the operating flight, terminal and arrival window before leaving for HSIA rather than relying on a saved result or an earlier family trip.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Dhaka–Dubai questions

1. How should I plan the drive to DAC?

Use the airline deadline plus a current estimate from the exact Dhaka district; avoid a generic city-wide time.

2. What if a train reaches Dhaka first?

Leave a conservative station-to-Kurmitola buffer because separate rail travel is not protected.

3. Which HSIA terminal should I use?

Confirm it on the current operating airline’s booking before departure.

4. Which DXB terminals have Metro?

Terminals 1 and 3; Terminal 2 needs another ground connection.

5. Can I rely on Metro for a late arrival?

Only after checking current operating hours and allowing for immigration and baggage.

6. What currency should I compare in?

Start in BDT and check the settlement currency before payment.

7. Are bags transferred at a connection?

Confirm through-tagging on the issued itinerary; do not infer it from the airline logo.

8. How can family identify my Dubai arrival?

Send the operating flight number, DXB terminal and Dubai local arrival date.

9. Does landing time equal hotel arrival time?

No. Add border procedures, bags and the complete ground journey.

10. Can I open the Dubai–Dhaka page?
